Bracket racing:

you get 3 qualifying runs.
They take your best time take off .1 seconds and thats your dial in time.
in eliminations if you go faster than your dial in time you're automaticly disqualified.
they let the slower of the two cars go first so that both cars in theory should hit the finish line at the same time.

Example:

you're racing against me.
your dial in is at 10.000
my dial in is at 15.000
i get a 5 second head start.

Ford Racing Mustang Maddness is $70 to race both Sat. & Sun. Gates open at 7am. You have to qualify on Saturday to be able to compete on Sunday. The breakdown of the fee is $50 gate fee, $20 class fee, and if you want to test & tune on Friday it's usually an additional $30. Winner takes home an awesome trophy and $100, Runner-up- smaller trophy and $50, and semis $25 each. ANY Ford powered Ford Mustang of any year can compete!

Thanks Alfredo for answering questions!

Martini

Just show up on friday morning i believe at 8am. you pay in advance.

50 bucks for TnT seems like a lot but thats actually not bad at all when you consider that you're getting more than 4 runs on a very well prepped track.

Edit: Just got the news letter with the schedule.

Friday gates open at 8am, test and tune from 12pm-6pm
Saturday gates open at 7am qualifying racing from 8am-6pm
Sunday gates open at 7am and eliminations

It doesnt matter if you are not used to the tree. Your time doesnt start until start moving.
Were you on drag radials or on your street tires?
Those are some sorry times for your mods. Whats going on?

Sal
05-15-2009, 08:40 PM
Jaime, the whole point is...did you have fun? How many badass race cars were on the property racing with you? This is as HARDCORE as drag racing gets with the exception of the Nationals. PSCA, the West's Fastest Street Cars!

Martini
