Picked up another Mustang  . I got the car for cheap only reason I picked it up. Already has a bunch of bolt on’s so I’m going to be putting it together and having a little bit of fun with it. Previous owner did all the bolt on’s H/C/I after a while motor developed a miss, took it apart short block was toast. Instead of fixing the car it was sold off to my friend… he never finished now I have it  Going to throw a stock short block in and call it a day.

Here's an update of what's going on. I had a 302 shortblock sitting around so I'm swapping everything over to that Shortblock. The previous shortblock was done/toasted. Painted the Valve covers black, installed the E-cam into the new shortblock. I sat one of the heads on the shortblock just for mock up. I'll have some more progress later ...

As for the Pulleys, the car already has a set of aftermarket set. Car already had almost every bolt on...

Good luck with that MSD distributor. Most end up being a POS that can't hold timing. Ask me how I know.

Really? I've only used one and that's on my 66 mustang. Been on there for 10 years and still works to this day. This one the car already had so I hope it's in working condition..

I believe the issues are only with the efi distributor. The carb application ones are pretty rock solid from what I've been told, so I bought one for my setup. It really is hard to beat oem for an efi distributor. Make sure you have a stock one handy incase you notice the motor running weird. My issues were solved by going back to stock. Maybe you'll have better luck.

yeah its a black top and rollbar away from looking badass.... Freshen up the black on those mirrors, cowl panel, wipers and top well trim too. Makes a huge difference. I did mine a few months ago with that Duplicolor trim paint... came out perfect.
