Small world. I see a lot of guys I was trying to get away from... :cool4:
As a new signup, I am trying to post a couple of times to see if that will push a pm over to someone.
Looking around, the site is interesting.

Trying to find a picture of the current toy, which is an all black SPF MkIII Cobra that had an old school Roush 427R (Dart block 351 stroker) engine with a Tremec TKO600, and had a Holley and MSD distributor setup until a couple of months ago. It is now getting a 4.6 modular installed -- will be in a relatively mild state to start. Had an '03 Cobra before, and with the Roush 427R, I found that I just missed the performance characteristics of the 03's blown modular. Will post a pic when I find one.

Thanks guys...
It has been funny/good to see so many familiar names. Yes, I hang out on SoCalT. T
The SPF Cobra replica has been a dream car for me -- something that I wanted for many years. When I bought it, I installed a Roush 427R which makes about 450 rwhp. I thought that would be ok, but even though it was very strong, it never had the "all hell breaking loose" quality of my '03 Cobra. So I sold the Roush 427R engine and tranny with the thought of stuffing a blown 5.4 modular into the SPF. Then I saw one (ouch) and it was just too much engine for that car, so I am back probing stuffing a blown 4.6 modular into the SPF.
With the current economy, Gus selling his Eaton was too good a deal for me to pass up.
I will put up a thread when it is sitting on an engine.
