I don't think you'll be seeing him in this thread because there's nothing he can say since the car ran down the track, showed that it hauls ass and there are time slips and videos to prove that it ran.

If I remember right he was running 3.27s and Greg said not enough gear. So I am guessing Taller?

Maybe he just needs more stall?

I'm running 3.27s and 3,800 stall no problem last time out, but I'm also on a 26" tire so that changes things vs his 28"

It should go 6.20's next time out. This car is a 1/4 mi. car, when I hit third it was like a boost switch turned on.

I may go later on with 61's with billet wheels but not anytime soon! It has been an expensive project and now i really just want to enjoy it.

Thanks man! The car's power band starts like at 5100 rpms and is when the turbos really spool up, when i took it the first time out last week I felt it pulling right at 5000. The 57's spool very fast and i've seen cars with 61's that take a while to spool up. I am on a 281 low compression motor and that's why I really think the 57's on E98 will be lots of fun.

I am on Cobra Jet Springs, and Tokico D'specs shocks and struts, they are a descent shock for my car, I wantthe QA1 coilovers and the QA1 Single adjustables and the Eibach Drag Springs but for now Its fine. I have more importatnt things to take care..... Eventually I am going to get those parts and the 29X12 in the rear and 28's up front.......... Remember I did the suspension for V6 Shelby as well....same as my car but my car has the Racecraft antiroll bar..... now time for a :beer::asthanos:

All you need is a good double adjustable shock and a single adjustable strut. The struts are just along for the ride.

Remember, over the last 8 months or so I have pretty much been around nothing but 650+ hp cars that make a foxbody look like a pig, so call me jaded.

Not that that takes anything away from Ed's car as possibly we have a misunderstanding of semantics. It is a clean, purpose built race car with some decent streetability left in it. I respect that, ie: respectable.
