I have a Vortech system up for sale for all the V6 s197 Mustang owners. Martini and other V6 owners, hopefully you'll interested in some of these items!

Everything is located in Southern, CA at Sinergy Motorsports

1. Vortech V6 2006 High Output Kit in satin.
I have about 15,000 miles on the system and have never taken it to the track, never run hard. This is the product link: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product_variation.php?pvk=610
This High Output V2 SQ system was installed in 2006 by Vortech as it was used as a test mule. It was run on an extremely conservative Vortech test tune (maybe 4 or 5 pounds of boost-only run up to about 250 hp) and I've never raced the car. New bearings and seals put in by Vortech in 2007. Since mid-2008, this car has been in storage.
It was just used for cruises and mostly on the weekends. With a custom tune I believe an extra 40 horsepower could have been netted.
You'll get everything (used condition) that is included in the H.O. Kit
V-2 supercharger, fuel management unit/Diablo tuner, air intake system, Intercooler, and all other parts that came with their full kit.
I'm asking for $2000 excluding shipping. This kit new sells for almost $4,900 new.

2800 for 40hp. Nitrous is way cheaper and will net u more power.

RedRyder

nitrous runs out though.

he would make about 130 more hp with a good tune.

RedRyder

more like 300hp tops. IMO, for a V6, a blower is the only way to go.

Ya but what did ghetto booty make? I agree fredo should get blown, but if he is gonna spend the money might as well make the good power.

Jose don't forget that this is also the FIRST vortech kit made for a 4.0. They used Mikes car as the test mule. I have inspected this kit many times as the car had been at Sinergy a couple of times and I can confidently say that vortech (whom tuned it in house) put a VERY conservative tune on this puppy.

BTW, Mike do I get a piece for storing your damn longtubes and strut tower brace for nearly a year and a half now.

just kidding.

If anyone wants to jump on the blower or any of the other parts I will also offer a discounted install rate to help Mike out as we will be pulling the parts off the car for him.

so you are saying there is more power in it?

so you are saying there is more power in it?

yes sir. they were running this kit almost TOO rich. There was a good amount of power left on the table. Also don't forget, he was running this kit in an auto car. Just off the same tune it would make more power in fredo's with it being a stick.

so then fredo should def jump on it

Here are the dyno numbers from a stock auto with supercharger:

Test Run
max power: 246.5 @ 5800 rpm
max torque: 243.7@ 4750 rpm

Base Run
Max Power: 150.3 @ 5200 rpm
Max Torque: 164 @ 3550 rpm

I must have had one of the lowest performing auto engines ever. I really think it needs a custom tune to derive the most power out of the supercharger. I gained about 96hp total on a stock auto car.

Thanks Mark for offering a discount on the install. Much appreciated. If anyone knows someone who might be interested please point them my way. :pouce:

There is no way in hell fredo is going to be buying this. He just finished paying off his triple ball bearing turbo.

the most he can make is about 300 without going into the engine..i say he do this..

Who told you that nonsense? The 4.0 can take a good 350ish rwhp with no worrying about the bottom end.

4-5lbs of boost.....yeah thatll do it too. Get a lil more up there and a good tune and youll see some more respectable numbers simular to courtneys old sixer

i know the v6 explorer has a 4.0 v6 in it but is it the same one as in the mustangs?
if it is the you would probably need to do a little bit of modification
