Silverpoison made his debut with the new set up. The car performed perfectly, Ed just needs a little more seat time. The only decent pass he got was a 6.9@102, lifting 2x. He lifted right after letting go of the transbrake, and again up top. He is having issues with the shifter being a reverse manual valve body, compared to a normal manual valve body. Next week should be much better.

Waiting on a new hot side, and driveshaft.
And so far I can't find a fabricator to redo my hot side but I haven't really tried lol kind of put the mustsng on the back burner.

Nah, he'd rather talk about how fast his car is, and then prove it by posting videos of other people's cars :look:

It takes big money and lots of knowledge and time to build the car how I want, very few here have all these resources, many though will say they do but dont want to :backpedal: the decision to make it a race car only and not drive it anymore was made only 3 months ago when I got the c4.
I took a shortcut and broke a driveshaft, now I just don't have to replace the driveshaft but my pinion is messed up and when I took off the exhaust I noticed the catback has rubbed almost all the way through the axle housing. So even more things to take care off.
This time I am gonna take my time and do things right.

I'm not doubting any of your setbacks, but this makes no sense. So a 1/32" thick exhaust pipe almost rubbed through an 1/4" thick steel tube?
Is your catback constructed out of titanium, infused w/ bits of diamonds? :D

Why does a Race car have a catback??
It doesn't, damage was done when I used to daily drive it. :(
It has an open down pipe from the turbo now.

Yeah bro, that's a lil material transfer. Try cleaning off your axle housing. That's not even close to "almost all the way through the axle housing"......

You have to see it in person, either way I'm buying another one :)
Plus that isn't the hold up, I need to get the driveshaft for one, a new legal cage put in, and redo my hot side. My guy won't have time till after 4th of July. I am trying to look for someone else that isresonable price

Naw really, I gutted the car, made it run only off c16 with a 3 speed auto only on slicks and muffler less, so I cant even drive it on the street just so I can stare at it in my driveway and spend tens of thousands of dollars, and never plan on racing it..
No mames :p
You got allot to learn young grass hopper, I'll teach you though just be patient. It will be the hard way and you will lose money but you will learn
