Hello everyone :)

I just wanted to let you know that Autobadges.com is now ready to host our 7th annual V6Mustangmeet(.com). That?s right, this is the 7th year we are hosting it and it only gets bigger and better!

Here is the information for the car show for those interested (details below):

Elysian Park (in Dodger Stadium Park)

General Address to reference:
835 Academy Road
Los Angeles, CA 90012
where Stadium Way meets Academy Rd.
July 11, 2009
10am-3pm

Upon reserving our location, I was told that there is a volleyball court that comes with the reservation, so we can either play some volleyball or some badminton for fun times!

Details:

There will be PLENTY of raffle prizes for this show as always. We will of course be providing you with free food just the same (food to be decided).

Of course there will be a car show as we have to have our reigning champions hold their crowns...or at least try to and a new class!

Here are the classes I am expanding the show to:

1994-1998 Best V6 Mustang
1999-2004 Best V6 Mustang
2005-2009 Best V6 Mustang
1994-2009 Best V8 Mustang

Let me take the time to say that this event is open to ANY MUSTANG, be it a V6 or V8, you are all very much welcome to attend the show. The more?the MERRIER!!!!!

The last show we had a big mix of V6 and V8 cars, and several car clubs in attendance, that we reached over 125 mustangs! Car clubs such as DarkStangs, Stangpede, and LoneStar Stangs were in attendance in big numbers.

10:00-10:30 will be time for cars to show up and park where directed to (please note if you come after 10:30 the voting will have begun and you will not be admitted to the show). As you approach our location you will be directly where to go for your registration information packet.

10:30-11:30 will be the car show voting. As we did before, I will have the ballots made up. You bring a car, you get ONE BALLOT. You fill it out and return it to us...and you will NOT be allowed to vote for yourself to try to make it as fair as possible. If you are not parked and registered in time, you will not get to vote so please be prompt as last year we cause a traffic jam off the freeway!

11:30-12:00 Ballot Counting?.and waiting for food to arrive

12:00-12:45 will be LUNCH! Food and drinks will be provided for EVERYONE attending as we have done EVERY year now 

1:00 ? 1:30pm will be the RAFFLE

Raffle tickets will NOT BE SOLD for this event as per our agreement to sponsors as well. You bring in a mustang?you get ONE RAFFLE TICKET. This keeps it COMPELTELY fair for everyone and allows only for one prize to be won by each person attending with a mustang. Sorry to say you cannot buy $50 worth of tickets as this throws off the balance?so one raffle ticket per mustang brought in is how it will be setup.

These were the sponsors we have for last year and have since added a couple more and hope to add even more:

Autobadges.com
Stangsuspension.com
VMPtuning.com
SprayedinLa
Sinergy Motorsports
Speed Concepts
American Muscle
Meguiars
TruFiber
StangMods
Redline Accessories

I will update the posts as I get more sponsors! Last year we were able to have a grand prize of a BRAND NEW CHOICE OF HOOD FROM TRUFIBER, I value of $500!!

In order for us to take a correct headcount you MUST REGISTER yourself and your guests via the link provided

http://v6mustangmeet.com/register/

1:30pm-2:00pm trophy presentation!

Please remember that AUTOBADGES.COM and FULLY SPONSORS this event for the people that attend it. We will have products for you to purchase at the show if you request so. If you have anything in particular you would like to purchase, PLEASE let us know so that we can take it.

www.autobadges.com

Autobadges.com will personally have all emblems in stock, tints and hoodshocks as well. Again you can see the turnout of the shows at www.V6MustangMeet.com and see just how we setup the cars, the number of cars that are really attending (LOTS) and how much fun the event is. This event is COMPLETELY free to everyone attending..just bring your stang, a smile on your face, a great attitude and have a great time!

Okay people...little update for you.

I officially have the 4 class trophies in hand now and they look marvelous as usual. (they better be for what they cost :lol ).

So trophies are ready, I have 95% of the parts ready for the raffle as well.

All I need now is to pick the food and pay for that LOL The location has been reserved for the last 2 months so it's at the same location last years was.

As of today we have 91 registered cars...good lord. With those cars we have a total of 95 guests coming along. That gives us a total of 186 people that will be in attendance.

My recommendation is to bring a foldeable chair to relax a bit as well. We will provide you with food and drinks. Bring a frisbee, and a volleyball. There is a sand pit volleyball court and net that comes with the area that was rented, so we can play there with nobody to bother us! Bring some sunscreen if you aren't good with the sun, bring your cameras for sure and most importantly bring a smile and good spirit. This show is 100% free to everyone and AutoBadges.com tries hard to make this show just fun and laid back. Also please remember that this annual show can ONLY continue if you guys show support to it's sponsors. Any sponsors listed on V6Mustangmeet.com/sponsors if you guys order from them, please do mention that you heard about them through our V6MustangMeet. This gives them assurance that we are getting their name out there and they continue to support us. Otherwise no sponsors, no prizes...no support of AutoBadges means no money for the show. Remember 100% free means it comes out of AutoBadges.com's pocket. So if someone asks you where to get tints, emblems, hoodshocks, ss inserts, etc etc please do refer them to us so that we can thank you guys with this show every single year.

Ok since it would be far too stressful trying to email everyone and ask them if they registered and everything is correct, I am going to show you the total list of people that have registered.

This will include your first and last name, email, club affiliation (if any), and year/make/model mustang, total guests (including yourself...aka if it's me and my wife...I would put down 2 GUESTS), and Yes/NO if you are showing your vehicle for judging.

Please do me the favor of looking through the list and find yourself. If you are registered and fine then you don't have to contact us for anything. If you need something changed please EMAIL US directly with your full name and what you need changed to Sales@AutoBadges.com

If you are not listed, you did not register correctly or just forgot, or had a glitch etc etc.... I am just about to close registration as we have exceeded the number of vehicles I wanted by a long shot. Last year I think we had 95 Mustangs and had to push cars into the 2nd section of the park...we have 130 now so that honestly is amazing yet scary LOL.

I will repeat this one more time as last year we had some issues with people saying they registered but were not on the list. NOT ON THE LIST = NO RAFFLE TICKET...PERIOD.

Please check, tell your club members to check, check for them....doesn't matter but make sure someone looks. This year if you are not on the list, you will not get a raffle ticket and you cannot enter into the 'show' area...whether you drove in with your car club or not, the parking spots are limited and I will only allow registered vehicles into the primary parking area (Those showing cars get 1st parking). Please do note, that if you drove up with 15 cars in your club and only 10 registered, only 10 will be allowed in together. Additionally this is not a 'club' parking area. Those that show up and are showing their cars for judging will be allowed to park together if they drove in together pending they are in the same 'class' to be judged. I will do my VERY BEST to organize the cars into the proper categories for judging to be made easy, thus why registering "YES OR NO" is very important because I will designate slots for each car registered. For example if I counted 94-98 V6 Mustangs that put "YES" for showing and I had 6 total, I would mark 6 slots...and if you try to show up and say you want in, sorry!

This means if you drove up with 10 members of your club and 7 of them are showing cars for judging...those 7 go in together and the remaining 3 will be asked to park elsewhere. I have to try to keep the judged vehicles apart from the non-judged vehicles as last year I had judged vehicles show up and there were no spots left that non-judged vehicles had taken so they were never looked at in the 2nd parking location.

If you have any questions/concerns please feel free to email me at sales@autobadges.com. I reply to emails daily 24/7. Please don't post on the forums your concerns as sometimes we don't get the "REPLY" emails and this show is posted on over 15 messageforums so we wouldn't know if you posted or not on some forums...EMAIL IS BEST!!!

just a quick question. How did you guys manage to overlook the foxes? Also, with participant-based voting, isn't this more of a popularity contest? Might explain the large number of Stangpede entrants. Not talking shyt, just sayin'. I might drop by if my dad lets me borrow his '02 V6.

AutoBadges focusing on parts for 94 to present vehicles so we make the car show for vehicles we get parts for.

Participant voting does not mean popularity as I will be monitoring every single vote and if I feel there is biased voting I will eliminate ballots and will designate my staff as the judges for the trophies. I will be circulating to check out the 'winning' vehicles and if I feel they did not fairly win I will intervene. Not to worry...I will be monitoring it very closely.

PS that wasn't just one question

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to update you guys/gals again.

I will be at the location at 8am, anyone that can come out early and assist with setting things up please come on over, we can use all the help we can get...especially with parking. We have goodie bags that need stuffing so that would be a big plus if you could help out.

Additionally I have to point out that Autobadges is the only company paying for this entire event and because of that we have limited amounts of food/drinks for the attendees. If you are bringing guests, children, family members, friends, please bring a snack for them as the portions are not going to be huge. Here is how the food portions will go:

1. Main Car driver/participate will get a raffle ticket and a meal ticket upon entering the show.

With this meal ticket, at lunch time you will line up and give your ticket and you will receive a bag of chips, a bottle of water as well as 2 slices of pizza (cheese or pepp.).

Additionally if you are bringing guests...whether it's 1 passenger or 3 passengers, your passengers will only get ONE MEAL ticket and they can split the portions amongst themselves. Sorry but with 140 cars, and each bringing 2-3-4 people each that is over 300 people and we can only feed the main mustang owner/drivers not entire families...hopefully everyone can understand.

Next year I will be forced to charge for registration to assist with all the other fees that are entailed with the car show. This show is costing far more than anticipated as the show has gotten far larger than I ever imagined..so much I have to close registration with a cap! Additionally next year (if I charge) I am looking to rent an entire actual parking lot at another location so we don't have any worries and can arrange everything to perfection...I am already researching it.

This show has always been 100% free..from awards to food to drinks to raffle prizes...but in order for this show to continue we need far more sales/orders or charging registration fees.

So if you would like to keep this show going every year 100% free please support AutoBadges.com and place any and all orders you can with us so we can give back to our community with this free car show.

Thank you,

Erick Valdez

I was there, but I left around noon to go to a friend's in HB. That turbo V6 was pretty cool.

I can definately relate to this; I felt like this during the last event, which was the Chicane show. That's why I took the extra zZZzzz, yet I got scolded by certain members of my old age and lack of dedication.

On the bright side, there will always be another meet/cruise/show to attend and hopefully I will be able to attend.

Next time, how about including the foxbodies? It's like having a bachelor party and not inviting any strippers.

Just an FYI:

Next time we are changing the site to www.V6MustangSHOW.com being that it's more a show now too :)

StangSuspension being closed down takes down v6mustangmeet.com with them and didn't want to transfer it over to us for some reason so we are changing the name, but same site :)

So be sure to bookmark the name V6MustangShow.com

Frankie is Mexican, and there are like only 4 last names down there. So it's possible that someone else has the same name. :look:

Also for the record, I wasn't asking for the foxes to have their own class. Just asking that they be included in the Best V8 category. Does it really matter how many show up? Say what! :look:
