Is the dealer the best place to get a multi-point inspection and thorough check up? I hate taking the car to the dealer but dont have many options out here in valencia. I have a 2006 mustang GT with 91k on it

Unless they do it for free, no.

Have you kept up with the factory recommended maintenance schedule?

Yeah I have but haven't had a major detailed service done which I'm sure wouldn't hurt.

I know it is a drive, but if you want, bring her down. We can toss her on the rack and give her the full once over. I don't charge for things like that.

My main concern is ever since the check engine light came on my MPG cause dropped. I cleared the light and it hasnt come on since. Obviously i need to get it checked out though since I didnt have a problem prior.

Before you cleared it, did you check to see what code it was?

Yeah it was the one I posted earlier with the alternator TSB. The MPG is starting to drop pretty bad. down to about 230 or less a tank when I am usually 260+. Car runs fine though
