I have a 2006 Ford Mustang GT. No mods with 92k on it. The light came on last night but I havent been experiencing any problems. When I ran a test the code P0340 and I have searched around and it looks like it traces it back to the alternator. I cleared the code and I havent experienced the light come on yet. Shall I wait until i experience problems and the light reappears or shall I replace the alternator? Thanks for your help
