View Full Version : Sequential Light Install Issue

Just installed a sequencer kit from Auto-Trix.net on my Mach, everything from driving lights to signaling to emergency lights work perfectly but when I press my brakes, nothing lights up, not even the third brake light on my Saleen wing.

The lights were working fine yesterday night (this is pre-sequencer-kit). I also installed their optional slower-pulse flashers. Otherwise, everything went very smooth, just wondering if anybody has experienced anything similar?

I checked my fuses, didn't find any burned out ones, but don't know which fuse is directly wired to my brake lights/tails. The fuse diagram I found online on a 2003 Mustang, doesn't point any fuse directly responsible for the brake lights. Could it be my brake light switch? If so, what could have caused the sudden blow-out, coincidence or sequencer-kit install related?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Don't want any tailgating sucker to smash into my rear bumper when I stop a little to quick for his reflexes to react lol

Gracias! :D

Was it a splice in kit or plug n play? If it's spliced in maybe you have a bad connection for the switch wire fir the breaks.

It was a bad fuse lol don't know how I missed it but it's been replaced, lights work great, lovin' it!

was this with the regular tail lights, or 99/01 cobra tails?

No dude, these were on stockers. Buuuuut they have figured a kool wiring system for your 99 tail-lights, hit up autotrix; I'm sure they'll give you the run down on how they decided to run their kits on the 99/01 Cobras :)
