to witch my reverse lockout is connected to, so now its a pain in the ass (but not impossible) to get into reverse :/. Checked the fuse for the brake lights and its fine. What else could it be???

You sure the fuse is good? Pull it out, look close and see if its just partially burned....
It might be doing what the Cobra did when i first got it.
I found the answer on corral.... go look at the fuse and I'll find the thread.

ah, ok think i fixed it but still have a concern. i found the issue to be a wire that came out of the brake light switch. put it back in (need to find a way to keep it there. electrical tape?) and it worked fine. Now my concern, this lil tinsy wire, is very hot to the touch after a milisecond of plugging back in. Is it supposed to be like this?
Chris,
When I drove your car, I noticed that your brake pedal rises (flips) up more than it should. It should not do that.
My vote is that the little bracket that activates the brake lights has broken or slipped off...or the wire is broken.
Haha...I was a little late in my diagnosis since I posted the same time as you.
See, I figured it out!!
Yeehah!

my pedal feels like ass cause the system is full of ass juice, aha. fluid needs to go in favor of new shit.
think it may be this switch? any idea on the part number???? i dont know if this wire comes from it, or if it was put there for the t56 swap. hopefully mark can chime in on this

hmm i dont see a reason you can find it,
how many other dealers did you try?
Chris,
I might have one available.
Gotta go through my swap parts crap and find it.
This is the square silver piece with an enclosed hole on one side, and an open hole on the other side and if I remember correctly, it might also have a small spring on it.

uh, ok ok..
I think the problem is related to the actual brake switch.

http://i16.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/e8/76/1b53_1.JPG
I think the spring mechanism is bad/stuck and is causing the electrical piece to heat up and burn.
This is what I was talking about to begin with when I mentioned a full circle, and an open one...see what I mean?
Anyways, since your brake pedal has some problem with it somewhere, I think it's co-related to this issue..or a factor.
Go back underneath and see if you can fuck with it and resolve the problem.
Also, I could not find the electrical piece anywhere. I might have tossed it. :(
oh..and I've not taken a shit yet.

yep. two 99-04's and i think 3 sn95's. All sixers as usual and prety damn stripped. I couldnt find shit else. Although i THINK (stress, THINK, lol) there were certain parts you might need on the steering collum. Not positive as to what i was looking at and what you need but there was a buncha crap there that LOOKED in tact. Everything else is bleh. Unless you need a spare tire, wich i dont think u can use as both ur stangs have cobra brakes and these are sixers.
heh, if ya go tell me if you find the black focus i text u about. blood splattered everywhere :donny:

I didnt get a text... what focus? Brain matter? Yikes....
I only go for the 5.0 parts that I know I can sell, fasteners, trim pieces or things that are so little that I just want to hold in case I or somebody I know needs them.

theres plenty of foxes and tons of other fords with whole 5.0 engines in them, lol. but the foxes had a few things that would probably be used. Good for a looksie, its only 2 bucks afterall.
I wish i had an idea on what costs what. That way i dont spend time removing shit and go to see that its not worth buying it at the front desk.
oh btw, done. Badda bing badda boom. Pluged it in, crimpt a few wires and heard the reverse lockout activate. Then saw the lights work. I love this car, lil dinky shits may break on rarity but its back on track with a simple easy fix *knocks on wood*
Also installed my HID Foglights while i was at it. Whole front is HID now, looks sweet and makes night driving a lot more comfy. Dunno why i never did it before
thanks for the tips guys, and offers on the parts incase you had them. Much appreciated

Well I really dont know what to tell you to look for... especially on the modular cars. But as for interior pieces, black ones are always in demand, I go for certain motor parts and little interior pieces that I know are always on the edge of breaking.
one day maybe we can go out and walk some yards and see if we can come up on some stuff.
