I need a lil help real quick...
I'm going to be getting a new work laptop here in a couple weeks and I want to clear out a few "questionable" :look: web addys from the address bar in I.E.7 before then.... how the hell do you erase selected addresses from there?
thanks in advance

its prolly a tool bar.
Go to:
[Start] ---> [Control Panel] ---> [Add or Remove Programs] ---> (find applications*Programs* that have tool bar in it.)
I know i had a Ask.com Toolbar program that i uninstalled last night. Thats one way to delete it (uninstall)
I think you can also hide it from your search bar, but still doesn't get rid of it.

I don't think you can delete "Selected" Addy's meaning pick n' choose. You will just have to clear out your whole address bar.
[Start] ---> [Control Panel] ---> [Internet Options]
Under Internet Options, go to General and then Browsing History, click Delete, then at the Bottom Delete All
I use a easy program that deletes everything with the click of a button, and its Free.

do this while in IE7:
Tools > Internet Options >
under Browsing History, click Delete, then select what you'd like to delete.
click Close, then OK and close your browser. :)

yes. that's why you delete History. ;)
removing the Temporary Internet Files will clear out IE's browser cache.
you can tell IE to do that automatically by clicking the Advanced tab, then scrolling down and checking the box next to Empty Temporary Internet Files when browser is closed.

he means when you type an address and it automatically fills in the rest for you.
history should clear that out kevin, if not, why not just clear out temp files, cookies, cache, history, the whole nine yards?

yeah I guess I could do that... was just trying not to. But I dont want to wait until the new lappie shows up and then be scrambling trying to get it out before I switch over.
