Has anybody here had any trouble running their SN95's without the Evap system?

My car doesn't have the system in it and I just want to fire it up ASAP without buying more parts for it.

the evap system doesnt affect performance at all....and acutally helps ventilate any excess pressure in the fuel tank (pressure created by heat cycles....hot days cold nights, etc) to prevent a possible explosion/damage to the fuel tank.

only logical reason to get rid of the evap system would be because there is a something wrong with it.......at which point the easier solution would be to just go to a junk yard.

gotcha. do you know if its missing the ENTIRE evap system? or just parts of it? i would just go to the junk yard and start grabbing stuff off those cars. there are usually plenty of the new edge cars out there, usually they are V6 models, but the evap systems are similar.

I'm missing the parts that go under the passenger fender.

I wouldn't daily drive without it, but it will just throw a CEL if you want to turn the engine on.
