The f-body club I was apart of when I was in Phoenix is heading out here at the end of May (Memorial day weekend) for a big event, and they are looking for a place to photograph their cars. I think some of the guys want to find a location with the beach in the background.

Any of yall know a beach that would comfortably hold 15+ cars for a group shot? I imagine the end of May is probably going to be pretty busy at the beaches, any suggestions for one that might have thinner crowds and a large enough area for all the cars to get together with a decent looking beach in the background?

I'm not to familier with the beaches around here since I'm not much of a beach/ocean person. And I imagine that Memorial day weekend is going to be crowded ay?

I've heard this place suggested before, thanks! How is it for lowered cars, ok?

Zuma beach

Any idea what day/time would be best to go there for them to avoid the crowds? I'm not sure what day they are going to have open for driving around, but I think they are going to be here all 3 days, May 23rd 24th and 25th. Any idea how bad it'll be during Memorial Day weekend? I'm guessing that things will be more crowded than usual?

Getting near a beach on Memorial day weekend will be murder in itself, trying to find a beach with a parking lot near the water that can fit 15 cars with a clear shot of the water behind is gonna be impossible.

Go to Vasquez Rocks.... you can easily get a lowered car around there no problem.

Thanks for all the replies :-) Any other suggestions aside from Vasquez rock? Not sure if the dust will scare them off or not, but I'll pass on the suggestion to them. Thanks!

I'd suggest Santa Monica, near the pier. If you get there early and I'm sure you would for the best light you should be fine.

Not really a beach, but the ocean...
