BMWCCA LA chapter is putting it on, should be a great day, $65, no cone shagging, catered lunch by Hooters girls :asswave:

Last time I ran this event back in September they had 2 long slalom's, and 4 wide open 'box' corners for drifting :angel: The lanes are wide enough for a bus to fit through so you can really open it up and have fun.

got word the catering will be by Rubio's, not Hooters this time. Better food, but less eyecandy :(

$65 and car gets tech inspected, you can rent a helmet if you don't have one.

tech check is basically looking for leaks, battery tied in tight, lug nuts tight, no hub caps, brake pedal is firm and doesn't sink when car is off, seat belts grab.

any car is welcome

instructors can ride with you all day if you want, I'm friends with several of them and can get extra help for anyone.

great event, great weather, really well organized, started right on time and was consistently 30-40 minutes AHEAD of schedule all day which is super rare for events like this.

My buddies and I were done and cleaned up and having a garbage burrito at rosa maria's by 4pm :)

I didn't get videos of my timed runs, but I took a few in the morning while I was learning the layout and sliding around playing, I'll post them up later today. My SD card filled up, woops.

I should take a picture of my tires, this was like the 25th or 30th auto-x I did with this set, and it's finally time to throw in the towel on them :rofl: completely bald and chunks are missing showing cords on the edges all around.

hah, no rain all day there, in the morning there were a couple of puddles of standing water but they routed the course around them, they were all gone later in the day by the timed runs anyways.
