Came in from another shop. Built motor, single 76mm turbo (too small for this motor), blah blah. First plan of attack is fixing the wiring nightmare it rolled in on. Dash currently has dashes on the odometer....

looks to me like its gutted and theres some plates covering up the snout. you can see its blue.

sucks about the wiring nightmare. those are the worst. "well where does this wire come from/go to... "

Why is the intake/throttle body pipe tapered like that?

looks like a headache, good luck!

the dashes could be as simple as a dead battery or PATS issue though.

Like Darek said its a gutted blower.

Why is the intake/throttle body pipe tapered like that?

The piping is tight in that area so its smaller for clearance then opens up bigger, mainly for more maf range.

The fuel press. regulator is plumbed incorrectly, so add that to the list of things to fix lol

I am more worried about the retarded wiring from the positive from the battery.

Ok, after chasing wires everywhere things are looking good. Still have lots of little stuff to do and clean things up more. But truck runs now.... customer was super excited about it.

so is he going to get a bigger turbo later on? looks like the same one.

also do you have any L stuff laying around? toying with the thought of tossing stuff on my 5.4... ive seen takeoff kits go for like $1200 minus a few things. im guessing id need some fuel pumps and a computer/tune.

He is breaking the motor in on the 76mm and will put a 88 on later along with some methanol. I don't think I have any L stuff laying around.
