So tuned a 3V Saleen, then a TT S197, then a 02 Cammed Vette, now just starting on that black TT Cobra we built. We are just doing the street tune today... first pull running rich all the way through blew the maf housing in half lol First time I have ever seen that.

I have built motor before and ran them 30 minutes and straight to the track, I remember this other tech at the shop I was at kept saying I was stupid for racing my car and that it would blow the motor, well it was making a knocking sound when I towed it back to the shop and he started laughing


Turned out to be the torque converter swelled up and cracked the flywheel, motor was still good lol

I dunno why but when I seen this thread I thought of my bent rod lol I think it would be pretty neat to write on it "mad tq" lol can I use that phrase when I blow my motor again :/ lol Neat phrase :)

The expression mad tq. actually came from a customer named Crazy Dave. He had a whipple cobra that made 670 ft lbs. So he started yelling mad tq., mad tq. It just stuck...
