Finally getting around to do some testing on this. Last time I tuned the car it made 544/547 with a 2.65" pulley. We bolted on the new front drive and started out with the 2.6" pulley. First pull (no tuning adjustments made at all) made 552/572. So it made a peak gain of 8HP and 25tq, at 4k rpms it picked up 22hp and 29tq. The entire curve picked up, I will get that graph up later. Boost was at 11.76# and with the new pulley it went to 12.4#

We are currently bolting on a aux. idler pulley and the 2.4" pulley. More results coming up!

Aux. idler and 2.4" pulley results- 564/594 on 13.7# of boost. Thats a gain of peak 19hp and 47tq. compared to the 2.6" pulley it rolled in on. At 4k rpms it gained 37hp/49tq through the curve from the hit to 5.5k rpms.

sorry for the noob question....but what does that front drive/face plate/snout do? i mean, what makes it unique compared to the stock gt500 part? im not overy familiar with superchargers..... :(

Looks like they just went a different route to solve the problem of having to press on/off pulleys than metco.

From the looks of it, it is just a 5 screws and you are done deal.
I know with some of the knock off pulleys on the market, the tolerances are off so you can actually press one of those pulley adapters too far on and knock out the seal in which case you need to pull the whole assembly.

Interchangeable pulleys, and you cant run this small of a pulley on the stock snout.

I will get the 2.2" pulley results up tomorrow, had to tune another car so the Shelby got the boot.

Other mods on the car is: C&L intake, Lethal Perf. hi flow mid pipe with cats, and Ford Racing catback.

So the 2.2" pulley is on along with the aux. idler pulley. We should be running a belt about 1/2" smaller because we saw some slippage at 4250 rpms. The car made 572/636 on 15.6# of boost. So from the last time I tuned the car with the 2.6" pulley it made another 28hp/89tq. peak and at 4100 rpms gained 70hp/91tq with a gain of 3.87# of boost. We are very happy with the results and will leave this set up on the car for the next month to make sure everything is up to par. Expect some Posi ported numbers shortly...
