how can u brick your phone? just take the sdcard out, put an update.zip on it, boot into bootloader mode, and run an update. its virtually impossible to brick when you have firmware loaders to boot you into things and a removable SDcard.

I still don't know what that means:aaron:

Mine can make phone calls:asswave:

OT, I met a guy who got a bootleg dual line iPhone from China that took 2 sim cards so you could have 2 different phone numbers on 1 phone. I thought that was kinda cool.......:afro:

thanks but i've got two SD cards with about 4 different OS builds on my computer. it's a huge problem, basically what happened was haykuro's new SPL wasn't compatible with old Radio ROMS so when I installed the new SPL it fucked up the bootloader sequence. only the G1 loading screen, no recovery mode, no bootloader screen, no ADB, it's totally bricked as of now.

Many people working on a hardware fix or some kind of other software fix on xda-developers forums, but as of now the only fix is to warranty the phone with T-mobile, a problem for me because I have at

so for now it's back to my curve.

you retard. pretty sure in the process of updating builds it says to fully wipe the phone, thus no chance of radio version conflicts. pretty much every thread on xda where people claim they brick it is where they missed a CRITICAL step.

wasn't a wipe problem...

haykuro's new SPL takes about 39MB of cache space and reallocates it to /data and /system but is simply incompatible with older radio ROMs and there was no way to predict this. I didn't do enough research last night when I tried to flash it so that's definitely my fault but either way what's done is done.

the main need for this is for the Hero ROM which is about 80MB and bigger than the entire /system drive so haykuro needed to increase the size of it to accomodate the bigger rom.

check out the hero rom with rosie ui. looks fucking sweet
