A friend of a friend got his done last weekend at Impulse Engineering in Hungtington Beach. Seems popular for the 240 crowd...
$550 installed in a S14 for a four point with a harness bar, rear bar across, and a diagonal.

Any other reputable shops in socal that can fabricate a four-point bar? (in a mustang, not a 240).

4 point is $279
My dad can fab one up at the shop in Paramount. He has done quite a few races cars, and a 67 Mustang 8point couple years ago.

Yea, I looked into the MM one... it costs $350 with the harness bar and diagonal brace, plus $85 shipping. $435 plus the cost of installation.
The only issues I found were:
-rear braces aren't attached, which would require them to be welded by a shop I would have to trust anyway. I think if I have to trust them to weld it together, I would be able to trust them to bend piping.
-because it is bolt-in, it wouldn't have maximum roof clearance. I'm not going to take it back out after it's installed (welded in).
-with a custom bar, I would be able to integrate it with a shock tower brace in case of coilovers.

Does he do a lot of roll bars? Do you know how much the ballpark is for a roll bar?

This cage and many others like it built by our tech.

He has done more then enough. He actually has a computer programmed hydraulic tubing bender just for roll cage and chassis fabrication.
Bring the car by, and he can give you an estimate. Its better to see the car and figure out exactly what you want.

Kyle's (Krwy) dad is good peoples. I've only been to his shop a couple times, but the quality of work is top notch. I'll be taking my car to him for some misc stuff if I ever progress on it:rolleyes:

I believe the tech that's at Sinergy used to work at XMP...
