Hey guys.
My name is Mike Temple and I am the proud owner of an 06 GT.
I live in Irvine and just finished up at UCI.
The car is relatively stock but I have some cool plans for it. I have been saving up for a bit and have about 8 grand set aside and I have a couple of ideas.
Let me know what you guys think:
D-specs or bilsteins
H&R springs
CC plates
Lower control arms
Panhard bar
HID's
and I am thinking about forced induction. I definately want to do it but I am looking at either a Paxton Novi 2200, Whipple or a turbo.
What all do you guys think? Oh, and I could also use some recommendations as far as shops are concerned. My sister's boyfriend recommended GRC but I am keeping my options open.
Sorry about no pics. I will try and get some up on here asap.

Welcome. Sounds like u got a good foundation planned out. U might just wanna talk to mm and get a starter box or street/strip box depending on what u wanna do with the car.
Did u meet my friend marcus at a bbq the other day?

Holy long introduction!!! Good luck with the plans. I'm sure like 99% of the people who buy a mustang and say the want boost you'll do it in the first month :aaron:

Sorry, I don't know who Marcus is.
What / Who is MM?
Thanks guys for the warm welcome.
I actually have owned the car since it was new. I bought it in November of 05 and have been paying on it since and in january got it paid off. The warranty went last year so now the money that I have been using to pay the note is going towards mods.
My first car (before the mustang) was a beater 89 civic that I got from my dad. It was a pile but got me to school and back. I worked summers and during school at my dad's business to buy this car that I wanted ever since I saw one back at the LA autoshow.
So yeah, basically I am into drag racing and road racing. Been to qualcomm and irwindale a couple of times and LOVE to go out in the canyons for some carving fun.
But yeah, I want to get some type of forced induction, I researched all the options and have not set my flag in either camp yet.
Any ideas?

Actually I just realized. Is it ok to be asking about mods and stuff in this forum or is it just for introductions?

it's mostly for introductions, but a little banter is acceptable. :)

O I see.
Doesn't look like they have too much though in the way of suspension that doesn't include Eibach.
My cousins mustang had eibach springs and I didn't really care for the ride quality.

Are you sure? I know for the older stangs they have bilstein, H, and tokico. Anyway, you'll get more responses by starting another thread. Welcome!
