need your guys opinion

i have a bad driving record and risk losing my license

so i have two options

SELL the classic and get my friends turbo eclipse and pay off everything at once

OR KEEP the classic and (since i just got a job offer at carmax)

and just work to pay it off

its the driving record and credit debt that im in that has me worried

so i just thinking sell it and not worry, BUT since i just "hopefully" Landed this job

then there is no point to sell it when i worked so fucking hard on this damn burdon of a car that i love so much

Sell the car and pay debt unless u sign an employment contract. Times r tough and people r gettin laid off left and right. It might be better to sell it now and secure your finances since u can always get another stang once u r better off financially. It would suck to have to sell it later on down the line if u really get desperate and will take whatever u get offered.

I agree with Jose. Sell the car and get some cash out of it. Depts do linger around. It took me like 6 years to pay off $1500 credit card bill that was sent to collections.

It took me about 2 years to pay for $300 of overdrafting charges from WaMu sent to collections...and a year of month payments to the IRS for some other crap.

I pay everything in cash or out of my checkings account.

And like Juan..i live at home.
