I must say this guy is a funny mother fucker. I never really watched him until tonight, cuzz his previous broadcasting was a lil late for me and had no interest for the guy. I finally watched Connan and his first show taking over Jay Leno's Gig/spot. God that guy is hilarious.

Who do you guys watch or prefer?

leno's show at 10:00 will fail conan will not beat letterman in the ratings and then they will put leno back at 11:30.but conan is funnier then both of them.

Conan hands down! :steve: I've been a fan of his since the mid 90s! I used to LOVE it when Andy Richter was his "sidekick" and was really sad when he left the show. I really didn't think Conan was gonna be able to pull it off not having him around anymore....but boy was I wrong! He was just as funny, if not even funnier without him! :rockon: I'm just really pissed that I missed his first show tho....I knew I shoulda set my dvr to record it! :mad: :no:

Edit: Oh yeah, is Max Weinberg (and the Max Weinberg 7) still his house band leader? I really hope so!

Jay is not going back on the Tonight Show... ever.
Even if Conan crashes the franchise into a brick wall. They will bring someone else in. But even then it'd take a few years to do it.

Thats just business.

You have to think of what NBC is doing to be like baseball. You have all the no-name guys in the minor leagues working out, honing their skills, and eventually if they hang around long enough, they can come up to the big league (the Tonight Show).
So whoever they have on the deep late night shows is who they would like to try and shape up to come all the way to the big show. But that takes YEARS as evidenced by what Conan has done.
