The steering wheel is telescoping, and from what I've read, I'll need a special steering wheel puller for it. Anyway, when I remove the horn cover on the wheel, there's a round metal thing that's right above the center steering wheel nut. I haven't figured out how to remove it, and haven't had any lucky in any Cadillac forums either. Hopefully someone here can help me out. Here's a few pics of what I'm dealing with so you have a better idea, thanks!

The two bolts are for the lock/release lever for the telescoping column.

I think you need to remove those 2 bolts then use a wheel puller that pushes against the black deal in the center as you thread in 3 bolts, as you tighten the bolts the wheel will come free.

I can't do that until I remove the wheel nut below that round metal thing.

The metal bit with the tabs? The holes on it look like the same idea as how the discs on my grinder get installed

If I'm here at my aunt's house tomorrow, I'll take some side view pics of it. I had thought about trying to loosen the nut under the round metal tab thing, but nothing fits under it. Thought if I could loosen it, then maybe it'd pop off with the wheel puller, but it won't work.
