fox makin strange noise

My car has been making a strange noise for a while and it has recently gotten louder. It almost sounds like it has a supercharger. The noise is there while the car is in park and also while driving around. The noise changes somewhat with RPM's.

I removed the belt to see if it was pulley related. The noise is still there, so it isn't the p/s or alt pulleys. My electric waterpump has an idler pulley so that eliminates that possibility. The only other pulley on the car would be the crank which I have yet to check. Oil pressure is excellent and the motor has less than 7k miles on it. I'm wondering if it might be tranny related. (I have a built AOD).

The car still runs excellent, it's just the "whiiir whiiiir" noise. Any ideas or thoughts on what to check? Thanks!

my throttle body used to make a screaming noise at idle and part throttle before I drilled a small 1/16" hole into it

i will check TB. Thanks. I've heard some that whistled, but my sound is more like a whirring noise.

Could be a trans/convertor issue.
