I have 2 cars thats need the A/C Serviced. One is my 1998 Mustang GT and the other is a 2001 Lincoln LS V8. The mustang's A/C takes a while to work and the LS is blowing hot.

Who is the best person to go to that can handle these cars. We were gonna take them to a dealership but if you guys know some where else then point me there.

Budt do they do as good work as a dealership?

ur kidding? do dealerships do good service? Ive worked at a dealership and after you pass the fansy new cars and 'nice' looks of the facility (some of them) its just like any other shop. Dont think just cause your going to Ford/Lincoln they are die hard Ford techs. Afterall, most of them know all they know from UTI :freak:

unless the cars under warantee , id never take it to a dealer. Im willing to bet Larry knows much more about cars (not just fords) than most techs in a service department at Ford put together. its an a/c job bro might just need a recharge.

in a lot of cases, better, since this is their specialty. of course, the level of service depends greatly upon the skill and expertise of the person doing the work.

Any hole of the wall shop can do it.

We do ac service Greg but as most folks here have said, you can probably find something local. If not, read the first line of this post.

I'll recommend Ray's Auto Care in Yorba Linda again. They fixed up my AC almost 2 years ago, and from then on, it's been working great. LS blowing hot? That sounds like a blend door issue.

Mark what does it mean when the ac is blowing hot?
Is that cause it needs a recharge?

Pm me a price please.

So why even ask for a suggestion, if you aren't going to take anyone's advice

The A/C is blowing hot? Or just blowing warm air? Could there be a leak somewhere?

I would recommend Johns Auto in El Monte. They recently moved from Temple City so you will not find them in the Phone book. Let me know if you want the contact info.

Can you send me the contact info? My civic A/C is nice and warm. I assume he can check for leaks?
