h/c/i, gears, andthrow a good set of shocks/struts/springs. Theres nothing worse than a decently fast car that handles like a total piece of 21 year old shit :cheers:

craigslist has many parts for 5.0's that people get rid of cheap. Just do some searches . Look thru all other mustang forums as well. Good luck!

these 2 guys know what's up. save up for a while and in the meantime, just fix the lil things that are wrong with your car. those lil things tend to magnify when you add more power.

A 347 isn't shit unless you have heads too. If you're on a budget then I suggest GT40 iron heads, Explorer manifold E-cam, headers and a set of 4.10 gears. A couple years back I bought a set of GT40 iron heads $300, Explorer manifold $150, and a used E cam $80, and the car was a blast to drive. If you have any questions you can PM me.

If you want better advice, you need to let us know what your power goals are, what you're doing with the car, and how much you have to spend. Can't really expect a honest answer if you leave us guessing.

But in all seriousness, Kyle is right. Without knowing your power goals and also what other supporting mods you want to do and what kind of budget you are working with it is hard to throw out parts ideas.

BTW, to the others in this thread. Keep throwing out stupid comments like "buy a 3v" or "put a terminator engine in it" and see what happens.

Hah, that will work too. I had a NOVI1000 on my '93 LX. After I swapped out the AOD for a T5 and some 3.73 gears it was really fun. My brother picked up a Vortech S-trim at LongBeach swap meet for $800 and it was 100% COMPLETE with extra parts too.

If you can find a supercharger for cheap, I would jump on it. Turbos are great, but supercharging a 5oh is stupid easy. I wish I left my coupe alone, rebuilt the motor and tossed my NOVI1000 on that and used that to daily drive. I blow shit apart if I get another car, I go overboard. Its addicting like drugs would be. Sometimes I think it would be cheaper to addicted to drugs rather then cars, hahah :D
