I got pulled over about 2 months ago. After my accident I never ordered the replacement plate. I had the dmv receipt when i was pulled over but the motorcycle cop didn't care. I already got a 1 month extension that will expire on the 24th. I still haven't received the plate or the notice (but my check was cashed already).

1. Can I get another extension?

2. Since I need to get it written off should I swap my mid pipe back to stock?

they will just walk out to make sure its on then go back inside, you'll have to talk to a judge and tell him you have no plates yet

thanks, I guess I'll go out there before the 24th and see what happens if I don't get the plates back yet.

how can you not have the plates? you can go to the dmv at any time and give them your single plate and exchange them for 2 new ones and put them in your hand.

12-14 weeks to be exact. I guess they melt the aluminum themselves, mold it, stamp 1 digit at a time each month and hand write and paint the california name and also hand paint the digits. I guess that's what makes it personalized.

As for the cite, if you don't have your plates yet, just file another extension because paying $25 or $35 once its corrected is way better than paying $200 if you don't correct it.
