Other than having an ax hanging over its head when I put the new combo in front of it.... nothing.
Its a relatively freshly rebuild T5. Just gonna put clean fluid in it and put it back in.

The motor is all that needs a teardown.

Yeah having a garage is huge when doing this shit. Motor came out pretty easy because Eric came up to help me...but it still had its moments.

I just want it back together already. :(

I might send it past the paint shop to touch up the little surface rust near the battery mount area... and paint the hood and bumper. :look: and replace headlights.... and some other little things

only moment I can think of is when we forgot to pull the shifter handle off. Even then, it wasn't really that much of a moment. The engine came out really easy.

I guess the moments were all mine since I had never done it before. hahaha

it's much harder doing it in the junkyard by yourself with their shitty ass hoists. Yours went really smoothly. There was no yanking on stuff, hammering, or cussing that I can recall.

id think a junkyard pull would be MUCH easier. not only do you not have to care about scratching anything, you can literally destroy anything in its path, cut out radiator supports in the way, etc etc...
