I have Maximum Motorsport caster camber plates on my 99 Cobra Mustang. Just make sure the tech of your choice is familiar on how to properly perform an alignment with them. Good product and very durable IMO.

the mm cc plates require drilling a 4th hole for mounting so whoever you feel comfortable with drilling on your car. For example I wouldnt take it to BP... also make sure theres an alignment shop waiting for you nearby after the install who can handle adjusting CC plates, you'll need it. Pepboys is not an option...

So what's so good about the MM plates ? Serious question. I just installed some h&r supersport springs on my car and I was told that I would need CC plates since it was a 2 inch drop.
I was looking at these J&M cc since they're like 100 bucks cheaper :Jew:

Do the s197s require drilling as well? I know the sn95s did, and the fuxes did not, but what about the s197??

I sell MM but can get J&M as well. Installed both and the following are the results:
1, The J&M plates have no adjustment for caster, the MM ones do. All they really do is allow for a slightly increased amount of camber adjustment which really does not help you out as both caster AND camber need to be adjusted to correct steering geometry, especially on anything beyond a 1.2 drop.
2, Although I have never had a failure of MM plates (and have installed hundreds of sets over the years) out of the 4 sets of J&M ones, one failed and had to be replaced. Not fun when the customer is footing the bill for labor. Another one of the sets seemed to have this creaking/popping sound only a couple of weeks after install.
The old adage of "you get what you pay for" really does hit home here.
And as far as the price difference goes, shoot me a pm if you are intersested. We are Tier 1 dealers for MM and as such I can beat anyone's pricing on the product and save you some coin.
