no dont fvcking mod it until you can get rid of it and get a v8. otherwise you're stuck in v6 hell like sean. blew all your money that shouldve gone to the v8 to worthless mods and your shit is still slow... then you come up with things to make yourself feel better like "less weight" and "better mpg"

You could always paint it to look like an eclipse much like Derek did with his car.

u r thinkin of the v6's of yester-year. the new one is pretty solid and outperforms all the competitors v6's. i wouldnt be surprised if the new v6 gave your v8 a run for its money.

i wouldnt care if it printed money. i wouldnt own one for the simple fact:
you'd *ALWAYS* want a v8 and never be satisfied with it questioning "WHY DIDNT I JUST WAIT AND GET WHAT I WANTED?!?!"

lol not only am i in love with my car, but with the amount of speeding id be doing in a 5.0 along with the insurance and the gas it would cost, im glad i got a v6. 305 horses, can get around 35mpg if im in 6th at 65 with cruise control, its faster than my 01 GT, and it rides so much better than the 01 gt that i had. i miss the sound and raw fury of a v8, but not the expenses that came with it. in the real world, the v6 is a lot more sensible for a 21 year old whose building his credit history and doesnt need to be paying 400+ for insurance

you could be building it while paying off your v8 car payment, gas, and insurance bills with a capitol one secured credit card...

my 01 was paid in full and i was making payments to my gramps on it. unfortunately my payments to gramps wasnt hitting my credit history, my insurance was through the roof, and my gas mileage was half this car. u really cant win this argument =] and if i really get the urge to drive a v8, all i do is walk 30ft from my office to the showroom floor, pull out a 5.0 key, a taurus SHO key, a gt500 key, or any of the keys for the performance trade in vehicles that we have sitting on the lot, and go out for a spin =] dont gotta pay insurance on them, no gas, no car payment on them, and i STILL get to enjoy them whenever i damn well please =]

ComiTheHomie

Torque > that v6
No, it is. The '11 V6 is comparable to the 05-10 GT.
Only way to really find out is the tried and true method....track outing!!! Let's see what that bish does at the Dale and Fontucky!

In ETs only I bet... but the true story of how "fast" it is will be told by the trap speed at the end.
The car can probably run a "good" number, but the lack of torque at the low end of the range is gonna have it run that "good" number BEHIND the older car.

Having driven one, the power does come on quick, and much sooner than expected. It's not like the older V6s (or even mine), where you have to wait for it to wind up. According to Motor Trend, it trapped 102mph.

wasnt crying out for attention lol. wanted to see if he wanted a test subject for a tune on the brand new v6's. everybody needs a guinea pig right?
If u have no time to go to his shop then how the hell will get a tune.:backpedal:
cause i dont have time to drive out there for him to decide if he wants to do it or not. need to be able to schedule the time and everything to work it into my schedule

Dude just take a day off or something and go see Greg in-person.
If I had an '11 V6, that's what I would do. Then I would have to make a thread about what Greg's tune did for me.
Done.

If you’re looking for a guinea pig hook up call a magazine or a local shop you see in magazines often.
I really think the new V6 mustang is a great bang for the buck mpg/hp.
Kevin I hate to get you started with this but is the car runs a lower time than a car with a higher mph what does it mater winning is winning right?

I'm saying its not likely to happen that way... I think it might trap higher but in the overall average HP deptartment, I dont think it would come out on top.
