I started working on my coupe again, and the motor will finally find its home between the frame rails after about 2 years of sitting.

Here is the short block

Welded up all the holes on the aprons, looks like a shotgun was blasted at them. Also made sheetmetal panels to box in the lower apron and the frame rails. The 'notch' on the passenger side is for the turbo flange, and the drain. They're not finished yet, when I yank the motor, I'll be able to sit under the hood and finsh everything.

Here is a current pic of the coupe. Since I stole the big rollers off of it, I tossed on my stock Mach wheels. I love the way it looks. The DSG of the car matches the painted portion of the spokes perfectly.

I know, really dirty, but real soon it will be back on the streets.

If there were meets on the weekends like back with LAMC first started, I'd be down. But everything is disorginized and not like back in the days.

Radiator is from Summit, the fans are from VSRacing.net and the shroud was fabbed at the shop.

I dunno if it will be ready for Queen Mary, I really don't want to rush it. It might be done, but I have no idea. The old motor needs to come out, then I can finish and paint under the hood, then the new motor in.

I was building it for my red LX, I ended up selling it. There was no way I could afford and build 2 projects at once.

Motor is stock block, 306ci, SRP 8.5:1 slugs, stock crank, rods, cam, Trick Flow heads, 1.7 rockers, TrickFlow intake, 50lb injectors, PMAS blowthru mass air, 2 255 pumps, AndersonFord PMS.

Yeah about 450+. I'll turn up the boost and make a bonzai run at 500rwhp. I know that 500 is the limit with the stock block, so I'd like to make it last. There is a guy on TheTurboForums with the same setup making 500 to the wheels at 13psi. After my setup is done and running, I'll be looking into a 351 based motor. The 351 block will be able to handle close to 700 to the wheels on the stock block.

I have a roller block I'm gonna be looking to let go of soon....

Lets make a deal.
