can anyone forsee any special tools I may need with my engine rebuild I could pick up for cheap this weekend?

I'm sure my dad has all the basic tools for engine rebuilding (dial indicator, feeler guages, etc.) but any specialized tools for a 4v I may need?

Garret, dont know for sure or if its just for aftermarket cams but I remember dan having to degree the cams on his buildup. Might want to look up on that if anything is needed. Hopefully dan can chime in. Just throwing stuff out that I remember hearing/seeing. Wish i was around more for his buildup coulda learned a lot. doh!

Thanks blanco as far as I understand it from miz, as long as the cams aren't removed from the head there should be no need to realign/degree them. I'll know if that needs to be done when the motor starts getting torn apart. He also said there is no head gasket on these cars, just a metallic spacer that shouldn't blow. I hope for my sake he's wrong, because that either means cracked heads or (worse) cracked block.
