I want to post online a document that is in PDF format that was mailed to me. How do I do that? Photobucket wont upload it for some reason.

then ur file is in the wrong format.



what your trying to do is post a picture. photobucket only uploads vids and pics. pdf is a word document like microsoft word.


if your document is only 1 page you can take a screen shot of it and delete whatever u dont want and upload that. or u could copy everything over to ms paint and save it as a jpg... but i think u will need adobe writer for that.



basically adobe reader (pdf) are files that cant be edited unless u have a special program (adobe writer) which is kinda xpensive. when people want to send a file like this they have to attach it or upload it to a site that holds ANY kind of file (like 2shared).... as where photobucket and sites like that only use media files (jpg, gif, mpg, wmv)

actually chris, a PDF is NOT a word document. it's a specific type of format used for easy document exchange. it was created by the Adobe company and is an open ISO standard.

the program to create and edit PDF files is Adobe Acrobat, although there are third party programs, including Office 2007 that will allow you to create them.

kevin, if you can, email me the file. i can convert it through acrobat to a JPG image and send it back to you. then you'll be able to host it through photobucket.
