No doubt a bmw has a more cool factor. But WHEN something goes wrong it will cost double what the car is worth to fix it

..I guess you havent played with 80's BMWs have you?

The parts cost are cheap....i would say cheaper than the 2.3 to fix

Not necessarily.. I thought that would be the case when I had my little Ti, but the parts were actually quite reasonable. Thats the reason I'm so set on getting another one one day.

now if you are talking about something new, complicated (i.e. auto trans or electrical) or a special edition (M cars) then yeah the parts do get a little pricey. But I wouldnt buy any of those without some sort of warranty coverage.

You could get a warranty for this fox. Have you guys seen that advertisement on television for cars that are under 100k miles that are at least 10 years old. Perhaps they have some type of deal even if its a few thousand miles over 100k. just my input for anyone considering this.

its a speed density 2.3 so mid 80's hp is what its rockin. but the 2.3 is pretty hard to break, and the t5 is almost impossible to break behind a 2.3.

its a beater with good mpg. not a racecar.

Its a car to commute from point A to point B, not to drive like a savage. Thats what the 3v is for.

It's a car to commute from point A to point B, not to drive like a savage. That's what the 4V [is King] is for.
