The last 2 pics are of the the valve. I'm not sure how it happened, but it completely sheered off. These are Koni yellows.

Thinking back, I hit a pothole pretty hard a couple months ago that bent one of my rims. This happens to be on the same corner where the rim bent. I wonder if it had been on the edge since, and yesterday is when it decided to break all the way? Either way, this sucks :(.

Sounds like you should be calling Koni to see if they will honor their product and replace it for free. Just imagine the liability they could incur if you ended up in a center divider using their product. If they don't... at least your alive... buy Bilstein next time...

Bilstein makes nothing for my car. I got the Koni's in a junkyard for $110 4 years ago, so probably no warranty, but we'll see when I get a hold of them today.
