I heard there might be some accountants looking for work, and I got this from a CPA friend of mine, so I thought I would pass it along:


I am currently working on a Property Accountant position in the City of Irvine. This is a permanent opportunity looking to pay in the salary range of 55-60K. If you are interested or know anyone who might be. Please feel free to reach out to me directly.


Must have either 3-5 years of property management exp or public accounting/ degree required.

nothing against Mason, but thats serious accounting work Fredo. i know that because of the "public accounting" mention.

they are trying to get someone REALLY cheap. :no: I wouldnt take the job for anything less than 80k.

Oh I say the same thing.... because it is a headhunter. Who knows what might happen.

I'm sure.... you got 23 weeks until the day or reckoning according to your sig.

But what I'm saying is they want someone to do slave labor for that job listed. They want someone with public experience to do a full cycle job for less than 60k. Thats slave labor... may as well be paid with a bag of cotton. :laugh:

mason isn't the only out-of-work accountant on the board. funny how everyone seems to forget that. :aaron:

and kevin is right about the job description. full cycle for less than 60k is sorely underpaid, regardless of how the economy is doing.

i get a few job alerts from a couple of the sites i'm on. i've already seen and applied for this via this agency's site, not to mention i'm already registered with this agency.

Its cuz u dont cry as much as me....:angel:

i don't know why. :shrug:


it's not much of a "hook up", since you have to go through the agency.

By the way did a lady call you recently. I gave your info to another agency. I have one more I'm going to hand ur resume too.

nope. only calls i've had the past couple of days were either for stacey or a telemarketer for my cc company. :sad:
