Jaime, give me a call and let's get your mechanicals squared away so Greg can do his thing and you can actually get the power to the ground safely and properly.
And for the others, ANY car can make more power, it is just a question of timing and air/fuel mixture.
I know of plenty of cars with Jaime's setup that put out high 4's and one or two that even broke 500, but they didn't last long.
Greg (like any good tuner) makes the most power a setup can make, but the keyword is SAFELY. Now if you are a crazy mofo that just doesn't care, sure, per your instruction he will push the car to it's limits and beyond, but you are on borrowed time.

He could have broken 7's with his previous tune. As long as he ignores his tires/suspension and overall driver mod, it ain't gonna happen.
Sorry if that is a coke bottle worth of piss in your cheerios, but I would rather slap you across the face with reality instead of petting your head with lies while slipping hundos out of your pocket.

Depends which type of 4V.......
and those numbers are at flywheel and rated by Ford. Not to mention the AT vs MT factor and the type of dyno used.

We don't even need to compare a SC 4V to Jaime SC 3V. A regular 3V GT with a Whipple makes 470-480rwhp and in some cases even 500 at the fraction of the price of a boosted Shelby GT.

why would there be a cost difference between the two? unless you mean installing it by a speed shop vs taking it to shelby shop

Don't forget the cost of a GOOD tune, plus...oh what am I saying?? 15k isn't gonna cover all of that!! Besides, what do you need methenol for? You'll only be pushing around 500hp, definately no need for it at that power level......unless you plan on going with a half assed tune and NEED methanol to keep your 500hp motor from blowing up.

When I was out there at Willow, I was getting 12mpg doing 100+mph
Anyway, 3v and 4v have very different powerbands. 3v seems to have a lot of mid range, but not quite the low end grunt of a 2v, while 4v is a revver, and has more top end power than the 2 or 3vs. It's the motor I'd start with if I was road coursing a mustang.
