Nikkor ED IF AIS 300mm/2.8 manual focus, built-in lens hood.
Don't really use this one much, I keep bringing it along with me shooting, but hardly ever actually use it. So, not wanting to keep things around that I don't use (especially if they are worth a decent amount of money) if someone's looking for a lens like this, I'm willing to sell it.
It's manual focus, ED glass, internal focus, drop-in 39mm filter holder with factory L37c filter (UV?)
Lens performs good, (focusing ring, aperture ring, focusing stop, tripod collar rotation, built-in hood extension). Glass looks good, so does the aperture. Includes the cover "boot" for the front of the lens, and a standard back-cap for the rear. Optically it has performed good, and I've found no fault with it. I'm not sure how it compares to the newer auto-focus 300mm/2.8 Nikkors, but it is by no means bad, especially for a fraction of the cost of the newer ones!
External appearance shows signs of use, scratches and brassing in the usual places.
Asking $800 for the lens, back cap and front boot cover. $75 additional for the Nikon-EOS adapter ring if you're looking to mount it to a Canon camera.
The glass *looks* hazy in the 2nd photo, it is not. The flash on the camera is illuminating the inside barrel of the lens.
