This event is sanctioned by the SCCA and operated by the Cal Club Region.
It is held under the SCCA Solo Rules and Cal Club Supplemental Regulations

Pre-registration is not available for this event.

in my experience with the Solo 2 people, practices are not open for the general public, but only if you belong to one of the groups associated with CSCC. this is why there is no pre-registration allowed.

so, if you want to actually take part in this, you'd have to sign up for the championship event (http://www.solo2.com/eventpage.asp?eid={D3237708-9A40-470B-8BB0-8477E05076B2}).

just thought anyone that might be interested would want to know. ;)

Actually in this wonderful economy we're in, CSCC have been very good about letting the general public in trying to bring in new drivers. So for the most part, the entries are first come first served and fill up quickly. Now in the future, if there is enough interest I can most likely reserve x amount of spots so those of you who are interested can come out and give it a try. Just let me know.

My bad, should have posted the link.

I had no problems getting in this event. Your right, first come first serve but as of now lots of open slots. I just mailed my check yesterday.

Hope to see some other mustangs out there!

What they do is take the first 65 checks and those people are in. Then they start a wait list and as people drop they update the list. If you do not run they'll shred your check. But if you make the list and don't show without notification, they most likely will keep your entry.

Fun weekend and I got to meet jwall. Car was handling very well with the MM rear swaybar. It was worth 2.5 to 3 seconds of a 60 second course. Thanks for the install Mark!
