you could have a bad thermostat or a plugged up radiator as well jaime. have you checked those things out as well?

if he's putting just water in there i'm surprised it hasn't rusted out on you. here in cali where we dont really need anti-freeze coolant helps keep lines from rusting and it also raises the boiling point and everyone should know.

Actually straight water has a higher boiling point. But anywhoo. Down in the dirty south it goes like this. One bottle water wetter, one bottle water pump lubricant. Then the rest distilled water.

That is correct. Nothing is a better coolant than straight water. Antifreeze we primarily use in this part of the world for it's anti-corrosion properties.

right now, it's showing speed up from the mid-30's to 50 from just past the 134E up to about altadena dr, then it slows to mid-20's until myrtle, then back up to mid-30's to the 605. from the 605 to the 57, it shows mid-30's to 50-ish.
