check the battery, you should have a set number of months the battery should be good for, you can get a prorated price on a new one I think

Wow, I keep hearing of s197 folks having batteries go out on them. I've had my car for almost 4 years now, maybe I should just replace the battery just as a precaution. Batteries are fairly cheap.

George why don't you stop being such an asshole. Online you're this big bad ass and in person you're a quiet small guy. Any who the car is under warranty but since the car had no charge a jump start would only let it run for about 2 minutes. Fords solution was to tow it out there (alhambra) the car is now at the dealer getting the battery replaced :D so I just returned the new one to autozone :) ford warranty ftw

It is the way our cars are wired.

You will find this out the first time you are installing anything electrical (ie gauges) you will find a BITCH of a time trying to find keyed power. EVERYTHING in the 05+ is constant power > Battery is toast in less than two weeks.

If you DO change your battery go with a deep cycle and/or dry cell battery as once our regular batteries die they are never the same and will never hold a full charge.
