View Full Version : oil in mass air meter and throttle body?

my friend just picked up a 91 coupe on a good deal when we got home we took off the stock intake to put in a bbk cold air intake there was oil in the mass air and throttlebody is this blow by? or something else? please help thanks

prob just blow by.....get an oil seperator and see how much it collects between oil changes

If its excessive, you might have a serious issue.

sounds like oil coming of the air filter :shrug:

it may be a bad pvc or pcv valve, what ever the order of the letters is. If it's plugged it will create pressure in the cranck case and shoot oil out of the valve cover nipple that connects to the throtle body
