haha, I WAS the shop steward at my old job right before I left. I loved when the dumbass supervisors attempted to write someone (or me) up... Not a single person got fired in the 5 yrs I was at that job. The edjumuhkated sups were just pissed b/c the "unskilled" idiots in the wharehouse and on the tarmac where making waaaay more then them. Unions FTMFW!!!:contract:

ive been involved in the firing of a few employees.. :look: they never came back and all my discipline has always stuck. None of the writes up i ever did get thrown out. They act tough when you are doing it, but then they are like baby's begging for their job.. :look:

It goes either way, you've got dumb stupid employees think they can do whatever they want and not get written up, and there are also stupid dumb supervisors who think they can give out write ups like candy....then get the write ups overturned cause they didn't have solid ground to give a write up making themselves look stupid at the same time!

I've seen strong union reps go at it with equally strong managment, and it always 50/50! You win some and you lose some on both sides:)
