yes. 275/40/17 DRs will work fine for you until you build the rear end down the road. It's your DD, right? Dont break it...

I care if it breaks but since I am an auto technician I can fix it :) but never broke anything on it. it ran 8.1? or so at 90mph (I know it ran this cause I was amazed at the trap speed) last time I took it. D I wasnt driving it that time with the slicks a friend was (my license was suspended)

I am not into the street racing thing at all, I was in a big accident and my girl was pregnant at the time and lost the baby imagine if me or the other guy racing hit a family and kill someone... (accident was not my fault we got hit head on when someone passed out behind the wheel, we where stopped at a red light)

little ot a 1998 or so mustang v6 with chrome 20" was trying to race me hahahah his probably gonna tell everyone he smoked me lol (I didnt race him or ever would but I am still learning to drive stick shift, so sometimes I chirp the wheels going to second by accident, actually today instead of going to 5 gear from 4 I hit 3 gear boy was that not fun..)

1. ill probably run 11's (still learning to drive stick)
2. It is to slow compared to my other cars ive had in the past.

I remember in my camaro I raced it when I first got it ran 14's and then it spent a year at the shop I worked at, building the motor,striping the interior, suspension mods. When I took it to the track boy was that fun :ani: Ran 14's again but at 40mph lol broke the trannie half way down the track lol but the launch and 1-2 and 2-3 was insane just 3-4 didnt go so well lol

Gonna have to bite the bullet and get some wide rims and poss slicks but probably DRs. Don't want to snap an axle right now.

I haven't looked into it, but how much HP can the stock ones handle? how much are aftermarket one? or do you have to switch to 31 spline? I dunno if my explorers (1998) where any different but mines where stock and they never broke even with slicks, it had 563 rwhp.

i wasnt hooking at all, powershifting into 2nd on street tires is no good.. was going sideways..i was spinning like crazy..
