They are doing it for a reason....
You'll find out why when you get them on.
On a side note I just paid 120/ea for a pair of 275/40 Sumitomo HTRz IIIs for the back of the Cobra. So far so good....nice and quiet all the way down here to San Diego at unmentionable speeds. :look:
I didn't realize how dryrotted and hard those old tires were until now. No more blowing off the right tire from stoplights FTW!

:ugh:
there's nothing wrong with hankook's sport tires. i should know, i have a set of K104 sport's on my cobra R wheels. they've provided good traction and great wear for the money. stacey uses their racing slicks on her race car and a set of the RS2-Z212's as her wet tires. never a disappointment with either.
of course, the RS2 is being replaced with the RS3, but there's nothing wrong with that. happens all the time and it's probably the same reason why the S1 evo is being discounted right now. ;)
but yeah, mike asked about this LAST NIGHT.
i like how people think "korean" so they must be cheap.

Yup. I have those on the mustang and they are a great tire.
I have hankooks on the truck and there is absolutely no traction, But they do last a very long time. plus they were only 130 bucks a piece versus the 250 for the goodyear F1's.

I have to look in my office for the info. Ill pm ya tomorrow with it. :afro:
My 3v came with Eagle f1's all around but the the fronts had a different thread pattern than the rears. :whoknows:
The fronts still have a lot of thread life and the rears....well 1 rear went down to the wires(replaced that one with a falken 452) and the other one is good for about another month or so and then i will replace it with a 452.

Dont listen to K-dog, once again spouting his words of wisdom
I have them on my 20's and cut low 1.8's tonight. They hook great, wear slowly and seem great in wet weather

my dads 20's on his harley are cheaper than my 18's
the bridgestones alan got for me for the rears have been the best tires thus far. hook good for a street tire, good on wet roads, and dont wear out so fast. i like having time to save up for another set of 18's out back between tires..... cant compare them to the nitto dr's i had before these but before the nittos i had KDWII's and those beezies wore out quick and couldnt hook. if they did by miracle hook i was blessed with some of the worste wheel hop ever

what did I say?
That they were on sale for a reason?
That 19s are an oddball size?
Whats the problem? Are one of those untrue?
I didn't say or imply that I knew shit about those tires.
