Anyone else interested in the 2010 mirrors?

I am placing an order for a couple sets as they are selling like hotcakes.

Ford underestimated demand on them and as such many places have a 2-4 week turnaround time just to get them. We have an allocation for 15 sets of which 11 have sold.

Let me know if you want yours now as otherwise you will have to wait (and knowning Ford, pay more).

I called montebello ford and they have them ready to pickup for $140, I know for a fact that wondries ford in alhambra also have them in stock.. Anywho can i get a quote on just painting the caps in UA black

Are you sure that is for the mirrors AND the covers? I can sell you the mirrors by themselves for that much no problem.

As far as the lead time I don't know what to tell you. There was (as Juan can attest) an issue with Ford sending out boxes marked as passenger side that actually had a driver side mirror in it and as such there is a shortage of passenger side mirrors. I would have Montebello Ford and Wondries Ford both open those boxes to make sure what they have is what you need. I don't doubt your word but as of this morning the parts tracker at Fairview Ford showed none in Socal.

Eugene, I think you are being fed wrong information or something as I just called both Montebello Ford and Wondries Ford this morning.

Neither have them in stock, both have them on backorder just as I stated and Montebello Ford wants 186 for the mirrors and 20 for the covers so that is almost 30 more than what I am selling them for.

Wondries Ford wants 93 and 81 respectively and want 193 total for both mirrors, neither of which they have in stock and will not have them anytime soon.

Anyone can call these dealers and verify my findings.

So bottom line is. I stand by the information that I originally posted and I ask that anyone wanting to come into such vendor threads make sure that their information is valid before posting such info as it is misleading and makes it seem as though the vendor is dishonest.

I was told they were available by the sales people, I go in to the parts department and they were out of stock :sad:
