i dunno its not like i got bored and started up muh mspaint and made up fake db errors... like 5 mins ago im just trying to see if that dude with the "400hp 306" was legit and i cant even browse the site without getting db errors.

perhaps they're hitting max connections? it IS like 5:30pm...

i'm not doubting you at all, just that i haven't seen that error. maybe there was a small hiccup on the server side. suppose i could go check and ask a support person.

i'll know for sure if i check the mail account. error messages get sent there whenever something like this pops up.

ok, it looks like this has been happening off and on since yesterday. got a shit ton of error emails.

looks like this host is having some issues with its db server. i'll draw up a trouble ticket and see where it goes.

funny, because mydomain is actually a pretty good service, unless you have something witty to say about them being worse than our last couple of hosts.

i'm not 100% sure what the issue is with these people. i have some other stuff hosted through them and there's never been an issue until now.

its still a shared server. doesnt matter how "good" their services are. someone elses guestbook, photo album, forum, etc anything sql based and coded horribly has a very high likelyhood of affecting this site. =) you cant "guarantee" someone elses shitty code.

you get what ya pay for. get a dedicated or VPS/virtual. yer own set of resources to run whatever you want to.

i access the P drive on the regular. insert my floppy and we're computing

sometimes it says I need more RAM so i allocate some resources from the hard drive and before ya know it i'm defragmenting all over the optical drive.

I'm getting this error on almost every click on this site.

I shaved last night and I have some sensitive stubble. Damn dull razor.

Anyways, I'll take a shower in a few minutes and I'll lather my face up with some nice gentle foam that should alleviate the discomfort.

I didn't sleep too well last night. I was up until ~2:30am. :sucks: :(

Does anyone like milkshake? I love the stuff. I cannot get enough!! Yum Yum!

My knuckles drag on the ground when I walk. Alexis has this problem too. I think.

I should run my spyware program tonight.

i'll let you guys know what i find out from the host. until then, i'm closing the thread.

wrangled with the host a bit today. they still seem to think it's a vB coding issue.

just finished updating to vB 3.8.4 PL1. don't think that's going to help. :(
