no it doesnt. those are crank #'s.

if i go with the 15%-18% loss from the crank, here are my #'s.

499-512 HP

440-451 TQ

your math is off.
from lets just say your tq is an even 450 and your hp is an even 500
450 - make it easy 20% would be closer to 360 at the wheels 20% is roughly 90 tq

500 - 20% would be 400 tq at the wheels 20% is roughly 100 hp

huh?? i made 434 to the wheel and 383 tq.. so you multiply those #'s by 15-18%.. :aaron:

which is kinda like dividing really because your multiplying by .15 and .18 and the numbers you showed where different from what your saying now.

first off, where am i supposed to be....and second, u dont know how to figure percentages....

this is how im figuring it out. if im wrong ill be glad if someone can explain it.

434 * 15% = 65.1

so 434 + 65 = 499 ..

434 * 18% = 78.1

so 434 + 78 = 512

:whoknows:

so cuz i dyno'd 295rwhp, then my car is makin anywhere from 339-348 crank hp
and tq was 317 so that means 364-374 crank tq

WOOT!

You and the braindead average consumer that pays any hoot to crank numbers are both impressed.

Just about ANY blown 3v is making more HP than a similar year GT-500. In fact Paxton got a serious reprimand from Ford as the Novi-2200 kits were hitting shelves just as the GT-500 was announced and it didn't look to good for Ford that a Novi equipped GT was spanking the 500 numbers.

Nope, I'm an alumni also. :afro:

But I did have to take remedial math (math 093) my first semester and retake intro stats (math 140).

I don't know how to do this simple math equation but I can not stand not posting something so here you go.

Fix.t that for ya.

Damn my 20% drivetrain loss. I think it may be a lil less with a smaller, lighter torque convertor though.
