Do NOT go with ceramics. They squeal like a pig until they warm up and even then some and on some of the cheaper rotors you guys are using they will decimate the rotors in a matter of a couple thousand (or more) miles.
Semi-metallic Kris.
Hawk is definately a good brand to use.

i'll have to agree with this. hawk pads are good to use. i've had them on my mazda, but everything else has porterfield. :)
i wouldn't throw money anywhere near EBC pads. i've had the green stuff and red stuff and only the KVR pads disappointed me more. :(

How long do those Hawks Semi Metallic pads last, ?
Superior Stopping Power
HPS - High Performance Street disc brake pads are world renowned for increasing stopping power on your street legal vehicle. Increasing the performance of your vehicles braking system is easy when you choose Hawk Performance’s HPS braking compound. This unique Ferro-Carbon formula was developed for street performance using the safety and quality of Aerospace and Motorsports severe-duty friction technology.
The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20-40% more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you’ll have a highly durable brake pad with less brake dust..
So i guess , HPS High Performance Street Pads - is this what i would have to get ?

I'll take you for a ride in my car, and you can see how Hawk pads feel (along with cobra brakes, cryo treated drilled/slotted rotors, stainless steel lines, 11.6" rears, bias plugs) :look:
The Hawks take some getting used too, but they are very very good.

Id also say hawks. Had them on my previous Stangs and they worked great.
I still have OE front pads and ceramics for rears. The ceramics squeal when they are cold. Once I upgrade rotors, they are coming off and getting replaces by hawks or equivalent.

if your lookin for a quick fix and dont have lotsa money.. duralast gold pads from auto zone are pretty awsome.. i have those on my rears.. and i made the mistake of going with some lame ass pads from pep boys.. NEVER GO TO PEPBOYS.. unless its for name brand cleaning products

So i asked my friends dad that question of what i should put and he stated, that even though Hawks are good, they meant for a more racing type environment, he highly recomended Ceramic Brake pads, and EBC with a great review. So i will prolly go Ceramic, EBC and purchase me some rotors along with them.

I have Hawk front brake pads that I got for a good price on Ebay. I'm planning on replacing the rears with them too.
Hawks are FTW.
Motorcraft.
Motorcraft pads from the delear's parts dept may actually be different than what came on the car from the factory.
